hi everyone today I’m going to show you

how to make the super easy crochet tank

top today I’ll be making this pattern in

size extra small the full red and

pattern is available for free on my

block and it goes from sizes extra small

to three extra large

you will need DK 8 play cotton yarn a

four point five millimeter crochet hook

some scissors and a darning needle to

begin create a slipknot

insert your hook into the loop we’ll

begin with foundation half double

crochet to start chain two

ya know there and insert your hook into

the first chain yarn over and pull

through you should have three loops on

your hook

have ninety eight stitches

once you have 98 foundation half double

crochet we’re going to slip stitch into

the first stitch make sure that your

ring of stitches aren’t twisted

in this pattern chain one does not count

as a stitch to begin round two chain one

and ten we’re going to half double

crochet in each stitch along the round

two half double crochet yarn over insert

your hook into the stitch yarn over and

pull through yarn over and pull through

all three loops half double crochet in

each stitch until the end of the round

you should have ninety eight stitches at

the end of round two slip stitch into

the first stitch we’re going to repeat

round two until the end of round twenty

seven so chain one ten and then half

double crochet in each stitch until the

end of the row once you’re at the end of

round 27 slip stitch into the first

stitch we’re now going to create the

flowy peplum to begin chain two and ten

chain two does not count as a stitch two

double crochet yarn over insert your

hook into the stitch yarn over and pull

through you should have three loops on

your hook yarn over and pull through two

yarn over and pull through two we’re now

going to place two double crochets into

the next stitch

we’re going to repeat the pattern of one

double crochet and then two double

crochets into the next stitch all the

way along the round at the end of this

round you’ll have a hundred and forty

seven stitches at the end of the round

beginning of your top if you have a

slight gap from the foundation half
