What you will need:

1 ball 00003 Light Pink OR 00006 Aqua
Crochet Hook: 5 mm [US H-8

Stitch markers, yarn needle, 2 snap sets for each pair of booties, sewing needle and thread

TENSION/GAUGE:

15 sts = 10cm [4”]; 20 rows = 10 cm [4”] in double crochet. CHECK YOUR TENSION/GAUGE. Use any size
hook to obtain the tension/gauge

Newborn to 3 months size

BOOTIES

Sole
Ch 9.

Round 1: Dc in 2nd ch from hook, 2 dc in next ch, dc in next ch, htr in next 2 ch, tr in next 2 ch, 7 tr in last ch; working on opposite side of beginning ch, tr in next 2 ch, htr in next 2 ch, dc in next ch, 2 dc in next ch; join with a slip st to first dc – 22 sts.

Round 2: Ch 3, [2 tr in next dc] 3 times, tr in next 4 sts, [2 tr in next tr] 3 times, 3 tr in next tr, [2 tr in next tr] 3 times, tr in next 4 sts, [2 tr in next dc] 3 times; join to top of ch-3. Mark ch-3 as center back st. Fasten off.

Upper
Ch 24; slip st in first ch to join, taking care not to twist ch.

Round 1: Ch 1, dc in first 10 ch, [2 dc in next ch] twice, dc in next ch, [2 dc in next ch] twice, dc in last 9 ch; join with a slip st to first dc – 28 dc.
Round 2: Ch 1, dc in first dc, 2 dc in next dc, dc in next 8 dc, [2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc] twice, 3 dc in next dc, [dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc] twice, dc in next 8 dc, 2 dc in last dc; join – 36 dc.
Rounds 3-5: Ch 1, dc in each dc around; join.
Note: Next dc is the center back st of upper.
Round 6: With wrong sides of upper and sole together and matching each st, ch 1, slip st in each st around; join. Fasten off. Strap-Right Shoe Ch 13, with wrong side facing, dc in 5 dc BEFORE center back st, dc in center back st
and next 5 dc; turn.
Next Row: Ch 1, dc in next 11 dc, dc in each ch to end. – 24 dc. Fasten off

Strap-Left Shoe
With wrong side facing, attach yarn in 5th dc BEFORE center back st; ch 1, dc in same dc as joining and next 10 dc, ch 14; turn.
Next Row: Dc in 2nd ch from hook and next 12 ch, dc in each dc across – 24 dc. Fasten off. Sew a snap set to each strap and ankle.
