MEASUREMENT : Approx 13″ [33 cm] tall
Doll: Size 3.5 mm (U.S. E or 4) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge. Stuffing. 2 small black beads for eyes. Small amount of red and black embroidery floss.
Clothing: Size 4 mm (U.S. G or 6) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge. 10″ [25.5 cm] satin ribbon ¹⁄₈” [0.3 cm] wide.
GAUGES
15 sc and 16 rows = 4″ [10 cm] with smaller hook. 14 sc and 15 rows = 4″ [10 cm] with larger hook.
INSTRUCTIONS
Head: With MC and smaller hook, ch 2.
**1st rnd: 8 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Join with sl st to first sc.
2nd rnd: Ch 1. 2 sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc. 16 sc.
3rd rnd: Ch 1. *2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in next sc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. 24 sc.
4th rnd: Ch 1. *2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 2 sc. Rep from *around. Join with sl st to first sc. 32 sc.
5th rnd: Ch 1. *2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 3 sc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. 40 sc.**
6th rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc. Rep last rnd 10 times more.
Next rnd: Ch 1. *Draw up a loop in each of next 2 sc. Yoh and draw through all loops on hook – sc2tog made. 1 sc in each of next 3 sc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. 32 sts.
Next rnd: Ch 1. *Sc2tog. 1 sc in each of next 2 sc. Rep from * around.
Join with sl st to first sc. 24 sts.
Stuff Head.
Next rnd: Ch 1. *Sc2tog. 1 sc in next sc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. 16 sts.
Next rnd: Ch 1. *Sc2tog. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first st. 8 sts.
Stuff rem of Head. Fasten off.
Body: With MC and smaller hook, ch 30. Join with sl st to first ch, taking care not to twist ch.
1st rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in each ch around. Join with sl st to first sc. 30 sc.
2nd rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc. Rep last rnd until work from beg measures 2″ [5 cm].
Next rnd: Ch 1. *Sc2tog. 1 sc in each of next 3 sc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. 24 sts,

1st rnd: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each of next 2 ch. 3 sc in last ch. Do not turn. Working in rem loops of
foundation ch, 1 sc in each of next 2 ch. 2 sc in last ch. Join with sl st to first sc. 10 sc.
2nd rnd: Ch 1. 2 sc in first sc. 1 sc in each of next 2 sc. 2 sc in each of next 3 sc. 1 sc in each of next 2 sc. 2 sc in each of last 2 sc. Join with sl st to first sc. 16 sc.
3rd rnd: Ch 1. 2 sc in first sc. 1 sc in each of next 4 sc. 2 sc in each of next 4 sc. 1 sc in each of next 4 sc. 2 sc in each of next 3 sc. Join with sl st to first sc. 24 sc.

8th rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in each st around. Join with sl st to first sc. Rep last rnd until Leg from marked rnd measures
5″ [12.5 cm]. Fasten off. Stuff Legs lightly.
FINISHING
Sew top of Legs closed. Sew to bottom of Body. Attach Head to top of Body. Attach Arms to sides of Body. With red and black embroidery floss, embroider mouth and eyelashes using straight stitch. Attach beads to Head for Eyes.
CLOTHING
Flowers: (make 2 for Pants and 3 for Hat).
With larger hook and A, ch 3. Sl st in first ch. (Ch 2. Sl st in first ch) 4 times. Fasten off.
Dress: With larger hook and A, ch 22.
1st row: (RS). 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. *1 dc in next ch. 1 sc in next ch. Rep from * to end of chain. Turn. 21 sts.
2nd row: Ch 3 (counts as dc). *1 sc in next dc. 1 dc in next sc. Rep from * to end of row. Turn.
3rd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in first dc. *1 dc in next sc. 1 sc in next dc. Rep from * to end of row. Turn.
4th row: As 2nd row.
5th row: Ch 1. 1 sc in first dc. *2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in next dc. Rep from * to end of row. 31 sts.
6th and 7th rows: As 2nd and 3rd rows.
8th row: Ch 1. 1 sc in first sc. *2 sc in next st. 1 sc in each of next 2 sts. Rep from * to end of row. 41 sc.
9th to 14th rows: As 2nd and 3rd rows 3 times more. Fasten off.
Flowers on dress bodice: With B and larger hook, ch 3. *Sl st in 3rd ch from hook. (Ch 3. Sl st in same sp as last sl st) twice – half flower made.** Ch 6. Rep from * 3 times more, then from * to ** once. Ch 4. Do not turn. Work along foundation ch as follows: Miss first ch, ***Sl st in each of next 3 ch. Sl st in next Half Flower. (Ch 3. Pants

2nd rnd: Ch 2. 1 hdc in each dc around. Join with sl st to first hdc.
3rd rnd: Ch 2. 1 hdc in each hdc around. Join with sl st to first hdc.
Divide for legs:
First Leg: 1st rnd: Ch 2. 1 hdc in each of next 14 hdc. Join with sl st to first hdc. Leave rem 14 hdc unworked.
**2nd rnd: Ch 2. 1 hdc in each hdc around. Join with sl st to first hdc. Rep last rnd twice more. Fasten off.

With B and larger hook, ch 2.

Thread B through 9th rnd. Pull slightly to form shape of Hat. Sew 3 Flowers to Hat.
HAIR
Cut strands of C 7″ [18 cm] long. Take 1 strand and fold in half and knot into fringe into each sc around 9th rnd of Hat. Trim front fringe for bangs. Divide rem strands into 2 groups and tie with ribbon into 2 pig-tails. Trim tails.
